This album itself is some kind of a masterpiece, when it comes to be able to cut and pastre sounds, in a way that the listener need to show attention and has the ability to"be there", all the way through. 15 YEAR ANNIVERSARY EDITION OF RUMPISTOL'S DEBUT ALBUM

In 2003 Rumpistol released his now classic debut-album without much notice.
Since then the Danish solo-artist has established himself as one of Denmarks most important electronic artists with five critically acclaimed albums and numerous shows around the world.

The debut from 2003 was not only Rumpistol's first but also set the tone for a slightly more accessible version of the otherwise highly complex IDM genre, as well as being part of the new generation of bedroom producers occurring in the wake of the 2000s.

With its charming melodies and innovative sound design, 'Rumpistol' quickly gained a cult following and numerous tracks were licensed for compilations, as well as being played by DJs around the world, including BBC's legendary John Peel and glitch hop innovator Tipper.

Even The Wire Magazine joined in and wrote the following:

”Eleven delicate creations from Denmark´s Jens Berents Christiansen. His work breathes fresh and open air with admirable confidence, knowing when to pause and when to press on. The balance between fleeting melody and hinted ambience is carefully maintained.”

It is the first vinyl release of the album ever and it contains all the tracks that have been included on previous CD versions + 2 unreleased tracks produced in the same period as the rest of the album. Everything has been carefully remastered to vinyl.

Fun fact: Two of the albums tracks (Hey Man & Two Lone Swampsons) were composed and produced together with Lasse Bruhn Svendsen - later known as Be Svendsen.
